Arimidex (anastrozole) was the first selective aromatase inhibitor used in bodybuilding, and it is still the most popular estrogen regulator. It is commonly available in both tablet and oral suspension form. The dosage is typically 0.25, 0.50 and 1 mg at a time, at a frequency of once a day or every other day depending on the Cycle.
An anabolic steroid cycle results in high levels of Aromatase steroids, and when there is no control of the Aromatase enzyme, the conversion to estradiol becomes excessive. The resulting high estradiol levels can lead to gynecomastia, fluid retention, depression and/or loss of libido. It can also make it difficult to maintain a slimming state.
